Are any of your local shops displaying a sign like this?
I just went to Lidl (what? times are hard OK)
Behind the counter I saw a sign that made me giggle & think of my school days.
"We will not be selling flour or eggs to those under 16 in the run up to Halloween" (Keeping ****** Safe in association with the Metropolitan Police.)
This made me think of my school days as when I was a kid the local Co-Op refused to sell flour and eggs to kids in the run up to the 5th Years leaving (cos we used to cover each other & the school in flour and eggs as a tradition)
Have you seen a sign like this in your town?
Not that I've noticed but then round here they'll easily find a willing "adult" to buy them for them. My daughter said one of the kids in her class, who lives round the corner, has said he'll be egging houses if he doesn't get anything - and he's only 7! God help him if he comes near my house, lol!
