1997 Volvo 960. My Check Eng.light came on and blinking arrow sign. The Summer,Winter, Everyday flashes. ?

I drive a 1997 Volvo 960 Model and today my check engine light came on along with a upwards pointing arrow light. I also noticed that my Winter, Summer and Everyday driving buttons above the shifter were blinking. Can I still drive it or should I have it towed to a Repair shop. Please help.

You've got a solenoid or wiring fault in the transmission. It will be OK to drive to a service shop.
